Is installing GA4 enough to track enquiries?
Not necessarily. You must define a confirmed enquiry, determine how it can be observed and test the event. A property receiving visits may record no actual submissions or count several stages as separate enquiries.
Why do different tools report different figures?
Definitions, reporting periods, attribution rules and collection conditions can differ. We start by comparing equivalent metrics. Consent choices, technical restrictions and journeys between domains can also limit the data.
Can you recover missing historical data?
Configuration cannot retroactively create events that were never collected. Records may exist in forms, orders or advertising accounts, but reconciling them depends on scope and does not automatically provide reliable attribution.
Does simple setup include e-commerce tracking?
It depends on what the website already exposes. Checking existing events and developing reliable payment reporting are different tasks. Test orders, refunds, duplicates and transmitted data need to be scoped before the work is agreed.
How do we keep measurement useful after handover?
Keep the tracking plan and flag website changes. Replacing a form or adding a checkout step can change triggers. Further checks can be prioritised in your support, without assuming continuous monitoring that was never included.
