Your Shopify store, built to sell and designed to last.

Shopify makes a simple promise: you sell, the platform handles the rest. Hosting, security, updates, traffic spikes on a big evening: everything is managed, which makes it the fastest way to launch an online store seriously. But between a store assembled in three clicks on a default theme and a store that converts, there's everything our job is about: a catalog structure built for SEO, a design that carries your brand instead of looking like ten thousand others, product pages that answer real objections, and a lossless launch if you're migrating from another platform. We build Shopify stores that work for you from day one.

Optimized checkout with Shop Pay and a refined buying journey

Why build your store on Shopify

Shopify hosts and runs your store for you. No server to manage, no security updates to schedule, no sleepless night because the site went down during a sale: the platform absorbs the load, including the traffic spikes that bring self-hosted stores to their knees. For a merchant, that means one thing: time spent on tech becomes time spent selling again.

The second asset is the buying funnel. Shopify's checkout is one of the most optimized on the market, refined continuously across millions of transactions, and Shop Pay lets returning ecosystem customers pay in one click. On mobile, where most of e-commerce happens, that fluidity shows up directly in completed orders.

The third is the ecosystem: thousands of apps, native integrations with ad platforms and marketplaces, and a dedicated template language, Liquid, that goes deep into custom work. It's also where Shopify's main trap hides, and we come back to it below: the ease of stacking apps ends up costing money, in subscriptions and in performance. Built right from the start, your Shopify doesn't need crutches.

A successful Shopify store isn't decided by the theme you pick, it's decided in the foundations: catalog structure, collection hierarchy, product page quality and a clean launch. Fixing rushed foundations always costs more than laying them properly.

Our Shopify store creation includes:

  • E-commerce scoping: catalog, collections, buying journey and conversion goals
  • Custom design on a reworked theme base or a fully custom theme
  • Complete setup: payments, shipping, taxes, transactional emails
  • Migration and 301 redirects if you're coming from another platform

The goal fits in one sentence: a store ready to sell on launch day, and structured to grow after.

The real questions before launching your Shopify store

Themes, apps and Liquid: building without locking yourself in

The classic shortcut of a failed Shopify build comes down to two rushed decisions: a theme chosen for its demo rather than for your catalog, and an app installed for every need that comes up. Six months later, the store is paying for a dozen app subscriptions, loading their JavaScript on every page, and the theme has been twisted in every direction to do what it wasn't designed for.

Our approach goes the other way. We start from your catalog and your buying journey, then choose or build the theme that serves them, relying on Shopify's native features before any app: customizable sections, metafields to enrich product pages, and Liquid development for specific needs. A feature coded cleanly into the theme doesn't cost a monthly subscription and doesn't slow the store down.

Apps keep their place for what they do better than anyone: customer reviews, email marketing, logistics. The difference is that we choose them knowingly, measure their weight on performance, and document what they do so your store stays understandable and reversible. You remain in control of your tool.

What our Shopify store creation includes

E-commerce scoping and catalog structure

Collections, filters, navigation and product hierarchy designed for your customers and for Google at the same time. Catalog structure decides whether your store is pleasant to browse and easy to rank, and it's designed before the first line of design work.

Design and custom theme

On a deeply reworked premium theme base or a fully custom theme, depending on the project's ambition. In both cases: your visual identity, your journeys, your tone, and flawless mobile rendering, because that's where your customers buy.

Liquid development and features

Custom sections, metafields, product personalization logic, specific calculations: what makes your store unique gets coded cleanly into the theme rather than stacked up as apps. Fewer subscriptions, more speed, and a tool that looks like you.

Migration and data transfer

Products, customers, orders and reviews carried over from WooCommerce, Prestashop or any other platform, with a complete 301 redirect plan so your SEO history follows. A successful migration is one Google doesn't notice.

SEO and launch content

Tags, product structured data, collection linking, content pages and product page optimization: rankings are built into the foundations, not bolted on afterwards. Your store ships indexable, readable and ready to climb.

Training and autonomy

At delivery, you know how to manage your catalog, orders, promotions and content. Shopify's admin is one of the most accessible on the market, and we hand it over properly so the store is truly yours.

Checkout is where a store makes or loses its money, and it's precisely the part Shopify masters best. The payment funnel is optimized continuously by the platform itself, tested on a transaction volume no single store could ever match, and Shop Pay gives ecosystem customers a one-click payment that shows directly in completion rates.

Our job is to bring your visitors to that checkout in the best conditions: product pages that answer objections before they block, shipping costs announced without surprises, payment methods that fit your audience, and a cart that reassures instead of worrying. Conversion is built across the whole journey, not just on the last page.

One honest point few agencies spell out: deep customization of the checkout itself is reserved for Shopify Plus, aimed at high-volume stores. For the vast majority of merchants, the standard checkout is more than enough, and its standardization is exactly what makes it perform. We tell you where that line sits and whether your project justifies crossing it.

Checkout, Shop Pay and conversion: where Shopify excels

Launch your Shopify store with Synerium

Your e-commerce project deserves better than a default theme and a list of apps. With Studio, your Shopify store is created end to end in fixed monthly payments, all inclusive. With Infinity, it keeps evolving after launch: new pages, conversion optimization, content and SEO, with no per-task billing.

After launch: performance, SEO and evolutions

A store that just opened hasn't proven anything yet. The first weeks reveal what scoping could only anticipate: where visitors hesitate, which product pages convert, which collections attract traffic and which stay invisible. That's where the work continues.

We track what matters: Core Web Vitals, because a store that slows down loses rankings before it loses customers, buying behavior to feed conversion optimizations, and SEO positions on strategic collections and product pages. Every app added after launch goes through the same question as during the build: is it worth its weight?

That's exactly Infinity's territory: your store evolves every month, content, pages, tests, optimizations, with no repeated quotes and no agency queue. E-commerce rewards those who iterate, and your store is built for it.

Shopify isn't the right choice for everyone, and saying so is part of the job. Against WooCommerce, the trade-off is clear: Shopify offers the peace of mind of a managed platform and a formidable checkout, in exchange for a subscription, transaction fees and a more closed framework. WooCommerce offers total freedom and full ownership of the tool, in exchange for responsibility over hosting, security and maintenance. Our dedicated WooCommerce creation page covers the other side.

Against Prestashop, very established in France, Shopify stands out for its day-to-day simplicity and international ecosystem, while Prestashop keeps an edge on certain complex catalogs and on the absence of a platform subscription. And for projects where the site is more showcase than store, the question deserves reframing: our website creation page lays out the right criteria.

What we guarantee is advice based on your project, not our comfort: catalog, volumes, team, three-year ambitions. The right platform is the one that costs you the least energy to sell the most.

Shopify or WooCommerce, Prestashop: how to choose

Shopify for established brands: Plus, B2B and migrations

Past a certain volume, Shopify changes dimension with Shopify Plus: deeply customizable checkout, native B2B features, advanced automations and multi-store management. It's a significant investment, reserved for merchants already generating substantial revenue, and the real question isn't "Plus or not Plus" but "what in your growth justifies it".

Migrations are the other big project for established brands. Leaving WooCommerce, Prestashop or Magento for Shopify means moving years of products, customers, orders and SEO history. Data transfer gets prepared, 301 redirects get mapped URL by URL, and the switch happens without interrupting sales. Our conviction is simple: a successful migration is invisible to your customers and to Google.

For brands running several stores, markets or languages, we structure the whole with native tools, Shopify Markets first, rather than multiplying instances that drift apart. A clean architecture at the start saves years of patching.

How much does creating a Shopify website cost?

Two budgets to distinguish. The build itself: on the market, expect roughly 2,500 to 5,000 € with a freelancer and 8,000 to 15,000 € and up with an agency for a professional store on an optimized theme. At Synerium, Studio finances the complete build in fixed monthly payments, all inclusive, and Infinity covers builds and evolutions in an unlimited subscription. Then the running costs: the Shopify subscription, transaction fees and any apps, detailed in the next question.

What are Shopify's day-to-day fees?

The subscription first: around 36 €/month for the Basic plan (cheaper on annual commitment), with higher plans for teams and larger volumes. Payment fees next: with Shopify Payments, expect between 1.1% and 1.5% + 0.25 € per transaction depending on the plan, and additional fees apply if you use another gateway. Finally the apps, from a few euros to a few dozen per month each: it’s the budget line that slips most often, and precisely the one a well-built store minimizes.

How long does it take to launch a Shopify store?

For a store on a reworked theme with a ready catalog, a few weeks are enough. A project with custom design, specific Liquid development or data migration takes one to two months. In most projects, the real timeline factor is content: product photos, descriptions and logistics ready upfront shorten everything else.

Shopify or WooCommerce: how to choose?

Shopify if you want a managed platform, a formidable checkout and zero technical worries, accepting a subscription and a more closed framework. WooCommerce if you want full ownership of your tool and maximum customization freedom, taking on hosting and maintenance. Volume, team and catalog tip the scales: we advise based on your project, and our WooCommerce creation page details the other option.

Can I migrate my existing store to Shopify without losing my rankings?

Yes, provided the migration is treated as an SEO project in its own right. Shopify URLs follow their own structure, so every old URL must be 301-redirected to its new equivalent, ranking tags and content must be carried over, and the switch gets verified in Search Console. Done well, a migration is invisible to Google. Rushed, it costs months of traffic.

Is the Shopify checkout customizable?

The standard checkout is broadly configurable: logo, colors, fields, payment methods, and it's already one of the best-performing on the market. Its deep customization, however, is reserved for Shopify Plus. For the vast majority of stores, the standard checkout is an advantage, not a limitation: its standardization is exactly what makes it so effective.

Do I own my Shopify store?

Your data is yours: products, customers and orders export at any time. The platform, however, is rented: if you ever leave Shopify, the theme and configuration don't transfer as-is to another system. That's the SaaS trade-off, stated plainly: you exchange some ownership for total operational peace of mind. We tell you before, not after.

Is SEO good on Shopify?

The foundations are sound: speed, mobile, structured data, certificates and hosting all managed. Two structural limits exist: URLs follow an imposed format (/products/, /collections/) and the native blog stays basic compared to WordPress. Neither prevents strong rankings: catalog structure, product page quality and collection linking weigh far more, and that's exactly what we build at creation.

Do I need many apps for a Shopify store?

Far fewer than you’d think. Every app adds a monthly subscription and code loaded on your pages: stacking ends up costing money and slowing the store. Our rule: native features and Liquid development first, apps second, only for what they do best, like customer reviews or email marketing. A well-built store runs on a handful of chosen apps, not a collection.

What happens after my store launches?

That's where everything starts. The first weeks reveal where visitors hesitate and what converts, and the store improves through iterations: product page optimization, SEO content, tests on the buying journey. With Infinity, these evolutions are covered continuously, with no repeated quotes. E-commerce rewards those who iterate.
